I brought my old Stihl 031AV in for Papa to fix, he asked me A TON of questions, tagged it in front of me and he explained what he thought might be going on but wouldn't say positively until he did the free estimate. A few days later, he texted me pics of the coil in my saw, it was damaged from some debris getting inside the saw. Tom explained that he could get original Stihl parts but it would take awhile, he could get cheaper, who knows where it came from parts sooner and cheaper. I wanted original parts, it took awhile to get them here. Tom kept me posted whenever there was and update. The parts finally came and he got my saw running and back to me. He didn't charge me for finding the issue, only for the labor in replacing the part and cleaning my saw. My saw runs great, it was affordable and I've never met a more honest and trustworthy person to do business with.  This guy is the real deal ! I will never take my saws anywhere else.

I was referred to Papas shop by my coworker, he had a few things repaired at Papa's shop and spoke highly of him. I'm have a few chainsaws and some lawn equipment. I wish I knew more about repairing my stuff but I just don't. Tom took the time to explain things to me in a way I could understand that helps me keep my equipment running good and not spend so much on maintenance. Honestly, it took awhile to get parts and get my stuff back, that was kind of tough but this guy is a one man show and he orders parts from the manufacturer. ( in my case the parts came from France) Personally, I'm willing to be patient for good service and doing business with an honest person. Hello my name is Tyler Moug, I'm an isa certified arborist, tree climber, timber cutter, and a not half bad saw mechanic. I have had the pleasure of having "papa" build me a modded 200t and he has tuned up and repaired countless of my saw mishaps. The 200t he built is the single baddest climb saw I've ever seen. Most saws that run this hard don't last but I have had mine working almost every day with no issues at all. He's give his word on his work and is a constant resource for my chainsaw maintenance adventures.

Put the Stihl to work today. It is a kick-ass saw. Started on the first or second and went through bucking a tree quickly. Another great purchase from Papas Saw shop!!
